Banded polypropylene housing ensures lab safety preventing the housing from bursting
Color-coded housing allows for easy identification of membrane
For sample volumes of <10mL
Retention volume < 25µL
Maximum operating temperature: 100°C autoclave at 120°C for 15 minutes
Maximum operating pressure approximately 100 psi
Instructions for Use
To minimize fluid retention on the membrane, draw 1mL of air into the syringe before filling. This will also serve as a final air purge. Draw sample into the syringe until full.
Secure the inlet of the filter to the filled syringe with a twisting motion, being careful not to use excessive force.
Hold the syringe with the filter attached vertically. This will permit proper wetting of the membrane preventing air block and initiating enhanced and proper flow rates.
Depress the syringe plunger gently. It is recommended that the first 0.25 to 0.50mL of filtrate be discarded.
Note: If increased pressure is required this is an indication that the filter is maximized and needs to be changed.
